Nashville Hot Chicken

Nashville Hot Chicken starts with fried chicken that's been marinated to ensure it's juicy inside. After frying, it's coated in a spicy paste made from hot sauce and cayenne pepper, giving it a bold and spicy flavor. It's traditionally served on white bread with pickles on top, which helps balance the heat. The combination of crispy, spicy chicken, soft bread, and tangy pickles creates a mouthwatering experience that's hard to resist. 🍗

Ingredients:

  • 200g of chicken breast
  • 50g of all-purpose flour
  • 30g of cornstarch
  • 1 tsp of cayenne pepper
  • 1 tsp of paprika
  • 1/2 tsp of garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp of onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp of salt
  • 1/4 tsp of black pepper
  • 120ml of buttermilk
  • 20g of unsalted butter
  • 1 tbsp of hot sauce

Kitchen Tools Needed:

  • Frying pan
  • Mixing bowl
  • Measuring spoons
  • Meat thermometer
  • Baking tray

Instructions:

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, cornstarch, cayenne pepper, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper to create a spice mix.
  • Dip the chicken breast into the buttermilk, ensuring it is well coated, then dredge it in the spice mix, pressing down to adhere to the coating.
  • Heat oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat. Once hot, carefully add the chicken and fry until golden brown and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes per side.
  • While the chicken cooks, melt the butter in a separate bowl and mix in the hot sauce to create the spicy sauce.
  • Once the chicken is finished, remove it from the pan and let it rest for a minute.
  • Brush the spicy sauce generously over the fried chicken before serving.

St Germain Spritz

The St Germain Spritz is a delightful blend of elderflower liqueur, sparkling wine, and club soda. It’s perfect for sipping on patios, enjoying at brunch, or anytime you crave a lightly sweet and bubbly cocktail! Why you’ll love this cocktail The first time I tried St Germain liqueur years ago is still a strong memory—the delicate, floral sweetness immediately captivated me! After testing countless St Germain cocktail recipes , the St Germain Spritz has become my absolute favorite way to showcase this elderflower liqueur. What makes this cocktail so special? Well, it’s so refreshing without being too sweet, sophisticated without being pretentious, and—maybe best of all—it takes minutes to prepare.
