Make-Ahead Tips for Your Super Bowl Party

The secret to actually enjoying your own party? Prep as much as possible the day before. Most of these dips can be made 1-2 days ahead and stored covered in the refrigerator. Things like the taco dip base, spinach artichoke dip, and all the cold dips are actually better made ahead so the flavors have time to meld.

For items that need to be served hot, you can also do prep work ahead like chopping vegetables and measuring seasonings: then on the day of you can assemble and heat. The cookie cake and brownies are perfect made the day before.

Accommodating Different Diets

Since I eat vegetarian and vegan often and my son is lactose intolerant, I’ve created the collection above to work for various dietary needs. It’s nice to label dishes clearly for my guests, marking which are vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, or dairy-free.
