Pineapple juice cocktails

After testing over 300 cocktail recipes in my kitchen (yes, Alex and I take our “research” very seriously), I’ve discovered that pineapple juice brings something magical to mixed drinks. It’s that perfect balance of funky tropical sweetness with just enough acidity to keep things interesting.

There are many ways to use this ingredient in drinks, like adding it to the classic pairing of tequila and lime for a Pineapple Margarita. But you can also it in a supporting role, to add nuance to a French Martini or the bittersweet Jungle Bird. Whether you’re dreaming of beach vacations or just want to brighten up a Tuesday evening, here are my top pineapple juice cocktails to deliver sunshine in a glass!

Why Pineapple Juice Makes Great Cocktails

I’ve found that pineapple juice is one of the more versatile cocktail ingredients in my bar. Unlike orange juice, which can overwhelm delicate spirits, or cranberry juice, which tends toward the tart side, pineapple juice adds a creamy, tropical complexity that plays well with almost everything.

That distinctive sweet-tart flavor profile means you often need less added sweetener in your cocktails – something I appreciate when I’m trying to keep drinks balanced.

St Germain Spritz

The St Germain Spritz is a delightful blend of elderflower liqueur, sparkling wine, and club soda. It’s perfect for sipping on patios, enjoying at brunch, or anytime you crave a lightly sweet and bubbly cocktail! Why you’ll love this cocktail The first time I tried St Germain liqueur years ago is still a strong memory—the delicate, floral sweetness immediately captivated me! After testing countless St Germain cocktail recipes , the St Germain Spritz has become my absolute favorite way to showcase this elderflower liqueur. What makes this cocktail so special? Well, it’s so refreshing without being too sweet, sophisticated without being pretentious, and—maybe best of all—it takes minutes to prepare.
